3. User Responsibility and Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You are strictly prohibited from creating or sharing shortened URLs that link to:

• Illegal Content: Any content that violates local, state, national, or international law
• Malicious Content: Malware, viruses, trojan horses, worms, spyware, ransomware, or any other harmful code
• Phishing and Scams: Phishing sites, fraudulent schemes, pyramid schemes, or deceptive practices

Custom subdomains are provided on a first-come, first-served basis. We reserve the right to:

• Reject or remove subdomains that violate these Terms
• Reject subdomains that are offensive, misleading, or infringe on trademarks
• Reclaim subdomains that remain inactive for extended periods

5. Neutral Platform Position and Content Liability

You expressly acknowledge and agree that:

• No Content Review: We do not pre-screen, monitor, review, or endorse shortened URLs or their destination content
• User Responsibility: Users, not ShopShortLink, are solely responsible for the URLs they shorten and the content they link to
• No Guarantees: We make no representations or warranties about the content, safety, legality, accuracy, or availability of destination URLs
• Use at Your Own Risk: You access and use shortened URLs and their destinations entirely at your own risk
• No Liability: ShopShortLink is not responsible or liable for any content, actions, or consequences arising from shortened URLs created by users
• Third-Party Content: Destination URLs may lead to third-party websites over which we have no control and assume no responsibility

Link Removal and Enforcement

We reserve the right, but have no obligation, to:

• Remove or disable any shortened URL at any time, for any reason, without prior notice
• Investigate and take action against URLs reported as violating these Terms
• Suspend or terminate user access for violations of these Terms
• Cooperate with law enforcement and legal authorities regarding illegal content
• Preserve evidence and user information related to violations

6. Service Availability

While we strive to provide reliable service, we do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Permanent storage of shortened URLs
• Specific uptime percentages or service levels

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time with or without notice.

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to our collection and use of data as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Reporting Abuse and DMCA

Report Violations

If you believe a shortened URL violates these Terms, links to illegal content, or infringes your rights, please report it immediately to support@shopshortlink.com with:

• The shortened URL in question
• Description of the violation or concern
• Your contact information
• Any relevant supporting evidence

We will investigate reports and take appropriate action, which may include disabling the link, suspending user access, or reporting to law enforcement.

DMCA Copyright Notices

If you believe content linked through our Service infringes your copyright, please send a DMCA notice to support@shopshortlink.com containing:

• Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
• The shortened URL containing the allegedly infringing content

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY SHORTENED URLS WILL BE PERMANENTLY AVAILABLE. YOU USE THE SERVICE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

13. Limitation of Liability

SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF CERTAIN WARRANTIES OR LIMITATION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. IN SUCH JURISDICTIONS, OUR LIABILITY WILL BE LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
